Moscow mayor: QR codes fulfil task, some limits still in force
MOSCOW, Jul 16 (PRIME) -- The Moscow government will cancel the QR codes, proving a COVID-19 vaccination or recovery, necessary to visit cafes and restaurants, from July 19, but it does not mean lifting of all epidemiological requirements, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Friday.
“We should understand that we’re in the risk zone and, certainly, we must obey all sanitary requirements and ensure further mass vaccination of the people,” Sobyanin said.
Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said the region “softens the anti-COVID restrictions. From July 19, the owners of eateries can decide on their own whether to check of QR codes of the visitors. In case of their cancellation, temperature taking, mask wearing, and social distancing are obligatory.”
